Press conference and modern mobile laboratory presentation

Ladies and Gentlemen:

A project named “PANGeA: Physical activity and nutrition for great aging” has been implemented within the Second public call for standard projects of the Cross-border Cooperation Programme Slovenia-Italy 2007-2013.

You are kindly invited to join the press conference on Tuesday 20 November 2012 at 2 p.m. at the UP SRC Institute for Kinesiology Research, Technical High School Koper, 4 Šmarska Street, Koper.

We will illustrate the past and future activities of the project, connected to the research of physical activity and proper nutrition during the aging process. A new acquisition – a modern mobile laboratory for field-based measurements – will be presented as well. The project will be explained by Jani Dernič, M.D. and Mladen Gasparini, M.D. from the Izola General Hospital as Project Partner, Prof. Dr. Rado Pišot, PANGeA project leader from the University of Primorska, Science and Research Centre, representatives of other project partners, and Borut Širca, representative of the Adriatic-Slovenica insurance company, director of their office in Koper.
